### What is an account statement?

### How is the balance worked out?

Starting from the balance brought forward, charges add to it and payments or credits take away from it, in date order.

### How often should I send an account statement?

### Is a statement the same as an invoice?

No. A statement summarises invoices, payments and the balance over a period. Each invoice still stands on its own.
