### What goes on a contractor invoice?

Your name and address, the client, an invoice number and date, a description of the work with hours and rate, any expenses, the total and payment terms.

### Hourly or fixed price?

Either works. For fixed price, set the quantity to 1 and the price to the agreed amount, and describe the milestone.

### Do I charge tax as a contractor?

That depends on your country and status. The sample charges none. Set the rate in the editor to match your situation.

### How do I invoice expenses?

Add a separate line so the client sees them apart from your fee, and keep the receipts in case they ask.
