### What should a quote include?

Your details, the client, a quote number and date, itemised work with prices, the total, the date the quote stays valid until, and payment or deposit terms.

### How long should a quote be valid?

14 to 30 days is common. Use a shorter period when your costs change quickly, such as materials.

### Is a quote legally binding?

That depends on your country and wording. In many places an accepted quote forms a contract, so check the terms before sending.

### Can I turn the quote into an invoice?

Yes. After the client accepts, convert it to an invoice in the editor and the lines carry over.
